Mechatronics in practice
Realisation Period: 09/2024 - 08/2026
Student education and practical learning within technical practice
This project, focused on practical education in the fields of mechatronics, digitalization, and automation, provides students with access to modern technologies and expert knowledge. As part of this project, advanced teaching technologies have been acquired, including a modular manufacturing system with collaborative robots, a machining center, and specialized software for reverse engineering. The goal is to expand our practical education offerings and tailor them to the needs of the labor market in the areas of mechatronics, automation, and robotics. Under the guidance of specialists in industrial automation and collaborative robotics, students learn to work with modern equipment, such as ABB YuMi and UR10e robots, and acquire the skills necessary for the digital transformation of industry. The education focuses on developing specific competencies in programming, controlling robots, installing, maintaining, and optimizing automation systems, including in-depth knowledge of kinematics, dynamics, sensing technologies, and control systems. This approach not only enhances the qualifications of students but also contributes to the development of science, research, and innovation in the field of industrial automation and robotics.
