My name is Daniel Kubesa, and I worked and educated myself at IdeaHUB for nearly 4 years. During my studies at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at VŠB, I was looking for a job in the field that was more than just standing at the assembly line in various engineering companies. After joining IdeaHUB, I received my design task, but at the same time, I also had the opportunity to work with a lathe for the first time. Over time, I received more sophisticated and complex tasks from other design projects, through additional machines in the workshop to working with a 3D printer or laser. IdeaHUB gave me the opportunity to experience many technologies, try technical development, experience communication with customers, various training, as well as independence and technical thinking. All of this was indescribably more than within the framework of the study itself. In addition to the great background for career development, IdeaHUB is also a place where there are many nice people organising great Hub evenings, sports events, and more. I can wholeheartedly recommend IdeaHUB.

In the third year of my studies at university, I was invited to visit IdeaHUB. At first, I didn’t know what to expect, but upon entering the office, I was immediately impressed by the atmosphere, where solutions to real problems are created. After touring the space, I was offered a project collaboration, which was a challenge for me, in the form of an opportunity to contribute to something that really makes sense. I consider this decision to be one of the fundamental life decisions that launched a collaboration that has lasted for several years and has been successful.
At IdeaHUB, I was able to work on real projects, which were not always easy, and those that were the most difficult significantly supported the development of my knowledge and skills.
